My name is Margaret O’Dell from Navarre Florida and I own Jazzy Jewels.
I’ve been active with crafts for many years but after Hurricane Ivan, I became a fused
glass and wired jewel artist. We moved to Ft Walton Beach after the storm damaged our
Condo. I was bored and looking for something to do, so I took a class in glass fusion
from Suzette at Glass Act and started experimenting with making cabochons. I found the
staff at Glass Act to be very friendly and knowledgeable, providing me with invaluable
information and plenty of supplies to choose from. That was my start.
I now work with dichroic glass, specializing in one of a kind custom work. My work can
be seen at various shows in the Panhandle, to include: St Simons Art Festival, Niceville Fair, Milton Art Show,
Navarre Beach Art Show, Gulf Coast Friend Art and Craft Fair, and many private shows.
