I live in Florida along the Emerald Coast in a town called Niceville. My husband is an
electrical engineer who works for the Air Force and we have two wonderful kids. We
moved here almost thirteen years ago from Utah where we both graduated from the
University of Utah. Even though I now live along the coast, I miss the ruggedness of the
west (especially Moab, Ut) and many of my beads reflect that love.
I’ve been creating glass beads since 2004 after taking a basic class at Glass Act, a local
glass studio in Ft. Walton Beach. I fell in love with melting glass from the start. Since
turning on my torch, I’ve used a variety of glass and experimented with many
techniques. I enjoy working with Effetre, Vetrofond, and Double Helix glass--all soft
glass. I also incorporate dichroic, silver, frit and handmade cane in many of my designs.
Some of my signature beads, "Colors of Moab", "Waves of Destin", "Sandwaves" and "Desert Symphony" are a
result of my love for the outdoors. Most of my beads are organic and natured inspired. No two are ever alike. I’m
not a flower type of bead maker. I love beads that flow with color and can not be created twice.
I also create unique art jewelry under the name Kelly Wild Jewelry. I use my lampwork beads, Swarovski crystals,
gemstones and sterling silver components in my designs. I like to sell my jewelry at art festivals and local shows.
Most of my jewelry is a one-of-a-kind piece. I enjoy making custom jewelry for local customers.

bead making classes. You’ll find many classes to tempt your passion and lots of supplies to support your habit!
