Upon meeting the love of my life, I married into a loving, caring and devoted family.
Those of you who know Suzette and Mike know exactly what I’m talking about! We
moved here from St. Petersburg and had our miracle child, ToriAnne Grace. Knowing
how generous the Brooks’ are, they invited me to work at Glass Act on Wednesdays,
Thursdays and Fridays with one catch… I have to bring Tori with me! Who could refuse
that offer?? Needless to say, it’s been working out wonderfully!
Coming from a creative family, it was just a matter of time before I got into glass art
myself! I’ve done a couple of stained glass pieces (learning from only the best.. Judith
and Bill!), fused a bit and of course dabbled in mosaic. People ask me all the time which
is my favorite to do – and I find myself giving different answers! I think it really depends
on my mood and what has inspired me that day or week! One of the things I love best
about working here (besides being with my wonderful In-Laws and Daughter) would have to be all our customers
that come in! I love it when people bring in their pieces for us to see! It really gives me motivation and
encouragement to start or finish a piece! It’s amazing to see the creativity and imagination that goes into some of
these remarkable pieces of art!
On my days off, I have my own business selling beautiful handcrafted .925 sterling silver through home and book
